yo so a couple months ago i fuked up my dash when i went in to work mid day and had an axe spray bottle in the seat and came out 9 hrs later and the damn thing exploded all over my windshield and the passenger portion of my dash. im wondering if you guys know any products that can take it back to like it was or if i should plan on just painting the dash. which is possible cause ive been thinking since the 4runner interior post was posted of doing that. what ya think?

try some rubbing alcohol or acetone. as long as yours is the hard plastic. something a little stronger. figure it this way, if you cant get the residue off it would let paint stick. so just try to get it off.

i'd just paint it to match the outside color, throw a couple skulls or something on it, call it a day:waytogo: as far as price i do material cost up front, then by the hour on big stuff, but something like this we could figure up a flat cost that works for both of us

Heres a couple pics of some my work, if you're interested email me at [email protected] :waytogo:

REAL dollar in the paint. Still excess pearl over the striping in the pic, that's why its messy looking

Yep, soak it in clear and apply like a sticker. then BURY it in clear, block it out, then paint. This was my first attempt, and i didn't use a perfect bill, but it came out ok. look at the bottom of the T, and the top of the A, and you can see where i sanded the bill away alittle, that's the only way i can get people to believe its real:lol:

I like the look of the carbon fiber one. A carbon fiber dash would be cool.
