well, if you run a parallel 4 link you need something to center the axle. a panhard bar works, but technically makes the axle move through an elliptic curve (moves out of center a bit). the watts link keeps the axle perfectly centered throughout the entire range of movement.

if you run a triangulated or wishbone link setup you don't need a panhard of a watts link.

the specs on the JL 450/4: 150 x 2 for the front channels and 75 x 2 for the rear channels. It is designed to give more power to the fronts for sound quality setups. The JL Slash series amps are fully regulated, which means no matter what ohm load you run (1.5-4 ohm) and no matter what voltage its getting (11.5-14) it will do full power.

As far as a choice, it all depends on what I was using it for. If you're not gonna have any rear speakers, go with the RF. If you are gonna have rear speakers but want more emphisis on the front without turning down the gain on the rears, go with the JL.

What alot of people don't realize is tho. None of JL's products are made for SPL, its all made for sound quality.

Oh interesting david, thanks for the info. He wanted to trade someone else so his sub amp matches his mids amp, so im trying to jump on that deal.

As for my truck i dont plan to run rear speakers so should be fine if he wants to trade. Also cool that their amps are like that, almost like the crown amps.

And J, try and link the vids for bernie
