Glad to meet you all, I forgot to really mention anything about the new toyota, so here are some stats...Its a 91 2wd std. cab, bought it for a hundred bucks down the street from some tweek that couldnt get it running. Turns out it needed,fuel pump, fuel filter, new gas, new ECU, new plugs and then it fired right up! Now Im just working on getting it looking nice, needs the whole front clip painted and it came without headlights or a grille or anything. Luckily I have some hookups at the junkyards around here, so Ive been getting everything for it pretty cheap! By the way how do you guys post pics on here? I know your all pic junkies!

Hey, sounds cool! Glad to have another low budget 89-95 owner on here! Sounds kinda like my truck. Mine wasn't from a tweek, but it needed a whole new front end and bed, but the price was right. $Free.99.

The best way to post pics is to go to www.photobucket.com and create an account. You will then need to upload your pics to your album on photobucket and copy and paste the pictures img code into your posts. It isn't too difficult. I look forward to seeing some pics!

Well after 2 years I'm back..permanently this time and with a different truck! Its been about 2 years since i last posted, and a lot has changed since then. I now live in Eugene, Oregon, and i think there are a couple people on here that live nearby? It would be cool to meet up and maybe get some kind of Toyota club or something going? Anyways..I have a new truck that's actually mine and I will be doing a lot to it! I will get a build thread and some pics up soon, glad to be apart of a great site!

Well i had a 91 std. cab shorty 2wd as explained at the beginning of the thread...but found out that it was still owned by this old man. I found out where he lived got his number and called him. Turned out he had given the truck to a nephew of his to fix, and the nephew couldnt figure it out sold it to me super cheap and I got it running again. Old man wanted it back, he didnt have the money to pay me for fixing it so he gave me this old 66 Ford instead. Pretty nice considering he didnt have to give me anything cuz the toyota was his to begin with!
Anyways......about a month ago I finally got the money together and bought me a 92 std. cab shorty 2wd, same color as the 91 even! So far I have done a balljoint flip and torsions in the front(4 inch drop), and I made some 4 inch blocks for the rear. The truck came with generic 14 inch chromies, gave em to a friend and picked me up some 17 inch chrysler 300 steelies mounted on decent tires for $40 from another friend. Other than that I made a full 2.25" exhaust through a flowmaster 40 I had layin around. I got a lot more to do but moneys super tight cuz I just lost my job!
And Cyn yota.....i checked out your ride super bad ass I love it!
