I am pulling out my 60/40 seats and putting in some mid 80's Celica/Supra seats. Then I will add a center consule for more storage room


Also added a steering wheel and t-shifter

Which steering wheel hub did you use?

 

looking good...do you need a factory dash clock?? if so Ive got some Im selling!!

 

The steering wheel/hub was from a 81 Corolla-should be the same as a AE86. Were does the clock go- next to the A/C switch and can you post a pic?

 

Yep...next to the ac switch & here is a pic of the clock. If you need one of it in the truck Ill get one tomorrow!

 

they are actually reccaro designed seats. 8 way adjustable with a lumbar support.


in short they kick ass, cept for being a lil on the heavy side.







did you use the stock truck mounting locations? that install looks clean.

 

I know I need to clean them up- I will install the driverside on the weekend and clean them then. I am using the stock holes and stock mounts- just cut them off of the stock seats and welded them on. Seats have great support

ya, i need one!!! how much will you sell me one with it shipped? I have one but its not the original cause it doesnt fit.

 

Got the driverside done today- great support and the color is almost the same.Sits almost the same height as stock, just need my wife to give them a good cleaning.

The 81 corolla is almost stock. Has a Weber 32/36, AE86 radio mount, VDO temp/volt/pressure gauges, and civic seats for comfort.

Got a arm rest today and a clock- thanks smctoy for the low down on how to remove it

Yeah they will, thats what I have in my 76, have to fab up the mounts but the seats fit fine.
