i didn't mean to get into welding. i was sitting at home filling out my list of classes i wanted for my 11 grade year. i had one empty spot and my mom said i should take welding. my exact response was "i'll never use welding in my entire life". boy was i wrong.
uncle fester (the owner) is restoring it back to when it was first built. i like the old school feel of it. and the wild part is he still brings home best paint trophies. the guys super friendly too.
Happy fathers day to all you fathers down there. Bernie, glad to hear about your sister Everyone else hows it going?
Oh and david i got a lot of pics from today, should be uploading them tonight or tomorrow, probably tomorrow, ahahah
maybe one day a week, i won't touch a welder. but i'm always thinking about new **** to build. i've got several notepads around the house with different suspension setups.
they're just sketches. after about a week of not seeing them it takes a few minutes to figure out what i was thinking. most are true cantilever setups for independent rears.
yea theres a guy i met off YS n he is debatin between a cantilever or link setup with the IRS is cantilever a good coice without IRS?
When it comes to anything mechanical, thats over my head. So I have a spiral notebook full of audio/video system ideas for numerous different vehicles, including the 4runner I don't have yet.
david a couple records for down here were broken and once again the bar was raised. and bernie, whats a i.r.s. Is that coils in the rear like the 94 4runners?
i learned all about IRS from that dude, i damn near learned a crapload bout suspension from him like i did about audio from dave
its good for irs since your limited on where the bag can go. for a live axle it mainly just looks cool. i've tried to sketch some interiors.... i get pissed off that they look like **** and say phuck it. then i go back to suspensions!
