ok so what is on my 22re motor that can be removed or moved so that it isnt on my valve cover anymore im wanting to chrome mine but the vacum lines covering it up sucks. if i cant how hard would a v8 swap be that is carburetor and still fit fairly nice
i would like that info 2, i seen some were on the internet pic of 22re i think the egr vaulve, but dont know what to cansal on engine.
I hid all my vaccum lines on top of my 22re...its not that hard to do either. I had a ton of extra vaccum lines from the scrap trucks Ive had. I unbolted the bracket that holds the lines in place & tucked them in between the intake manifold & valve cover. Here is a pic of before & after... before & now
thats all you did was unbolt that and move it down? did you have to make brackets to make that work i want mine clean like that
Yep lol...I unbolted the bracket that holds all the hoses & misc stuff & tossed the bracket cause you wont need it after you tuck all those hoses. Trust me there is plenty of run in between the valve cover & intake manifold. As for the spikes...look on Ebay & type in "pike nuts". They are used for motorcycles & come in all sizes & thread patterns. I have them on the motor & the rear axle as well. Ill post a pic of that later.
dude donny that is so simple i almost feel stupid for asking hahahhah lol iv been dying to get a chrome valve cover but i couldnt because of all the vacum lines so thanks man
Just get a huge piece of cardboard, place it in the engine over everything. and Draw your motor wiht a sharpie was told it gives 20hp. DO YOU KNWO WHAT 20HP DOES FOR US?! lmfao j/k
Wow 20 hp really i was told a TRD sticker gives close to 100BHP for putting it upside down on your Front fender
I wouldn't recommend chrome plating the valve cover for several reasons, but if you want the shine, get the cover polished!
the stock diff has a breather hose, sometimes they can cause oil residue. the filter keeps thing clean.
