Hey david, or any of you guys.

Where would be a good place to mount my tweeter in my truck. Im thinking ethier in the A pillar or on the top of the door panel. Any advice? Its a set of 6.5s and i will be running them off of 100RMS. Let me know what you guys think. Ill try and check back before i go to sleep.

no one makes anything that i know of. you could always have one made of fiberglass

stereo shops might have pre-fab one made of plastic, i wouldn't use those tho, unless you're short on money. your best bet is to make 'em out of MDF like mine. mine are covered in suede.

 

wuts mdf? and my 6.5s are off a plastic spacer.. as for my tweeters, ima be original cuz ima have fiberglassed ones then

 

my 04 mustang has the mach 1000 sound system (6-disc changer, dual amps, woofers), it has the little speakers mounted in the corner of the window. i love them speakers..... they are so discrete.

good news jeremy!!!!! i just checked for the parts again. he added a phone number to his posting. i called and he said its still available, i told him i'd pick it up tuesday since its like 2 miles from my work. i hate craigslist email crap!!!! i usually skip adds without a phone number.

 

dave when u get this i need ur audio expertise... im thinking about a bass tube (the bazooka lookin thing) i need ur expertise cuz that freakin knocks also, ive heard one so which is better the 2 shallow 10s or the bass tube? cuz yea i still got a couple weeks till i get my sounds

yeah its 20. not sure on when i'm coming. i was planning on coming soon for vacation, but it's looking like i'm gunna be retiring here in a couple weeks. i should know for sure within a week or so.

 

alright sounds good to me, whew n to think i was just about to go back to the junkyard n waste money lol (i still gotta go back for a passenger side door handle for the outside and a passenger "oh ****" handle, ive been slowly practicing drifting again, i just make sure there are no trees lol. thats wut cost me the sentra)

 

If you can do 2 shallow 10s in a ported box i would choose that anyday over a bazooka tube.
