Hey guys I was browsing through my pics and came across this pic, where did the valence come from and did the guy just cut a slot in the front of his hood?

 

self fabricated hood scoop and he manufactured the valance from another truck to fit his bumper

No, it should be metal. Its also on the 90-91 4Runner's.

 

Actually, the valance on Yotarip's truck is from an Isuzu Rodeo. The same type of car that's my back-up when mine's in the shop.

 

can anyone tell me if this would fit a 88-95

 

Should fit. I plan on putting it on my 92.

Does anyone have that style 84-88 upper bumper they wanna get rid of for the cost of shipping? No chrome. Paint doesn't matter. I plan to do a modified and narrowered version of that on my 78. I think I have figured out how to make it look right and leave space for a FMIC in the future.

And for people who like that rodeo valance, take a look at similar year rodeos, there was another valance that had a slightly different shape. And the Honda Passport (sister truck to the Rodeo) has one with a different look to the center openings. Its more flush sitting and has more bars. Heres some google linking
