Alright did some quick research. Shipping doesnt seem that bad to hawaii The cost to ship your vehicle** will depend on the registered weight and the destination. Young Brothers has three automobile rates based on the registered weight of the vehicle: **As stated in Tariff 5A, an "Automobile" is * Any four-wheeled, rubber tired, self-propelled motor vehicle * In operable condition designed for transport on public streets and highways * Does not exceed 7 feet in height at the highest point * Does not exceed 8 feet in width at the widest point * Does not exceed 17 feet in length at the longest point One Way Vehicle Rates To/From Honolulu 0 - 2,500 lbs. $155 - $181 2,501 - 4,000 lbs. $184 - $215 4,001 - 6,500 lbs. $259 to $298 Add on insurance and were good to go. Anyone want to sell me a truck?
Still gotta add in insurance, so id say $600-$700 at most. Find a truck for $500 and i think were in top shape. How hard is it to find 22RTE 2WD trucks in good conidtion up there? Thinking about building up a turbo truck next
ok well they shaved the gas tank door... like they did the hood... but unlike the hood...( i think they used an oxy torch to weld the holes shut hood is warped to all hell) they tacked the door shut then used j-b weld and bondo to fill the gap on the door... and had to relocate the filler neck so...they had a great idea of just cutting the wheel well and routing the filler threw it witch wouldn't be to horrible but the hole is like 3X bigger then i think it needs to be and no wheel liners... means Rocks fly off my pass side rear tire....(shouldn't drift gravel roads with it this way) into everything... including the rear window... its next on the list to fix either new bed or repair what they did
