to be honest i didnt try since the stuff didnt fit, like the face, that black piece fit fine, but my dash shell ahs that removable lip n the face wasnt for that, so i gotta go back and get that... then i gotta get a diff double din surround... other than that everything fit... but i just like to have everything in there so im a lil bummed, im probably gonna hit the junkyard sat morning

 

off to LA to get some highs for my sounds =)

 

Sweet what brand you gonna be running? 6.5 components or coaxils? And what kind amp/power you gonna be pushing it with? Interested in seeing what other people will be doing/running

 

im gonna be running MB quart 4" in my dash, (im keeping speakers in there), 6.5 components in my door (more than likely gonna be MBQ also) then im gonna be running two 10" rockford fosgate p3 shallow subs, 4 channel. and im gonna have the p400 amp to power my mids and highs, and the p500-1db amp to power the subs... hey david, my stock alternator gonna be able to handle all that?

 

Jeremy, your stock alternator will be able to handle it if you do a couple things.

1) re-ground your battery with at least a 4 ga. wire

2) upgrade your alternator cables to a larger size, 4 ga, should be fine there also

 

alrighty ill have to do that in 2 weeks when i go back for the subs n amps... so im getting told bout $100 per sub hehe
