    OK.....lol

I FINALY have my rim and spacer issue solved.

Rims are 16 inch with a 1 1/4 inch spacer.
Outer rim lip is exactly where the stock rim is with this and the inner lip is about 1/2 inch further back. slightly wider rim.

On my truck (81) with the 3 inch drop i have, what tire size would be good to run?

I am planning to drop it more and bag it.

    Is a P215/65 R16 to wide/tall?
    Truck has 205/70 r14 now
What are you guys with 16 inch rims running?

Im running the smallest 16-inch tire there is...its a 205/40-16, but you can always go with a fatter/wider tire & run the 215/40-16 or a tire that is a little taller & thats the 205/50-16.

if you didnt solve this yet, i would suggest 205/50/16s all around, or a 225/50/16 for the rears. one is a stock focus size, one is a stock probe size. lots of other stuff its stock for too, but that means there are a lot of companies making them and they arent super spendy. also, they arent drastically shorter than stock. i ran the latter size all around on my 78 and its alot lower. without much drop i wouldnt run smaller than a 24" tall tire. looks weird.

good point. focus and a probe weigh about the same, if not more. but i dont haul stuff. if i sit on the tailgate, i max out the rear suspension onto the frame. and im not a big guy either. haha.
