I've tried many times to get some mods/admins around here along with other changes

we finally got a site update with improved sections but it's not perfect and parts of this site still annoy the **** out of me which I why I am hardly on here even though I love these trucks.......

I also offered to be the mod for the 89-85 section but again nothing came about

we need a mod for each section (unless someone wants to do multiple) and we need an active admin that can make changes the users want.......

I've been on here since the site was still a blank page that said coming soon......

it has grown alot and we need the changes to support that

Yea there are more and more users adding everyday. The Stickers that are starting to appear on trucks is gonna help too!

I agree. I have to admit, I have done some things to the Toyota and not posted them as the format tends to let posts slip by. There are threads that i come across that i have never seen, are months old and long, And i come here 2-5 times a day!

well i just think that it is just insane that we have only one admin and the guy dont even get on here to see whats going on or make changes . all i want is an admin that will actually make changes and do it more often than every year or so .... hopefully jeff may stop by and see this thread it may get him motivated for a week or two or i may be banned lol

but i dont post any of my threads by any rules or regulations thats why i love it here instead of people harping on you for not having the post exactley right they help and do what they can i mean they arnt going to come help turn wrenches but i know if there was a way to do it over the computer they would do it !

it should be someone that has been here forever and knows enough about the forums to be able to update it reguarly. It should be someone that knows every bolt and noock and cranny on our toyotas that way if no-one else can help you the admin can. and i agree there should be one for each gen of toy.

god get me goin on this **** il write a novel

I think this is a really good idea. Some were thinking that when the site got more popular the admin would be around more, but IMO the site is pretty popular at this point and still no sign of the admin...

These are some good points. I think the idea of having mods for each section is a really good one. That way mods could keep an eye on each and every post made and share relevant information as needed. I know there are folks on here who keep up with just about every new post, but it is a lot to keep up on for one person.

It would be great if some administration changes could be made.

    My thoughts:

    Admin: Lownloud
    Pre-1975 section mod: ShoNuff
    1976-1983 section mod: burnzya
    1984-1988 section mod: SD YOTA
    1989-1995 section mod: 93Yoter
General Discussion and Marketplace section mod: SMCToy

I offered to mod the 89-95 section but nothing ever came of it............I would still be willing......

I've done quite a bit of stuff to my truck since my last update and have some cool stuff in the works but have not posted any of it because this site has a serious lack of administration and is still not easy to navigate. I don't understand what is so hard about copying the taco site layout to this site.......
I was one of the first members and have tried to get changes happening multiple times but getting something done around here is well like hitting your head against a wall :brickknock: honestly until some changes are made we will continue to lose member interest. Which imho is pretty damn sad because the pretaco guys are some of the most passionate and loyal vehicle owners around......

maybe I should just build a new site.............

I really have no experience building a web page or forum but if there is enough interest and technical know how we can build our own site.....

here's one I made in a short amount of time

I think it is a cool idea, if for no other reason than it would be a forum administrated by forum participants and enthusiasts. I do like how this forum is aimed at pre-tacos, especially since there is a fully functional taco site that seems to be working as everyone want is to... I am interested in being a part of a new forming forum. Count me in.:applause:

I figure keep all the posts for a certain generation in one section kinda like yotatech that way everyone sees everything and stuff doesn't get lost in the shuffle.....

If you guys want start posting on that forum I made and we'll go from there
