stupid question

    i want to know if the rotors on my truck are 2 piece since they look like they are cause if they are i can't pull them apart well someone please let me know and if they are 2 piece how do you pull them apart thanks

    They are not. Unless they are aftermarket...but I don't think there are any two piece for our trucks.

    they are attached to the hub from the back side, so you have to remove the hub from the spindle then remove the rotor.

    90 4runner, 94 standard cab, 90 standard cab STOLEN
    There are 5 bolts that hold the Hub to your Rotor. Remove the 5 bolts and then lightly tap the Rotor and they will separate. Bolt everything back together and you're done. Don't forget to regrease your bearings.

    Great info! Heck when I go that far, I just replace them, but packing them is a bare minimum the thing to do . . .:waytogo:

    Are the 2wd rotors two piece? I thought only the 4wd ones were.

    u can always go with a rear disk brake conversion ahaha

    No, 2wd and 4wd rotors are both one piece. They both bolt to the hub, but in slightly different ways.

    i finally got them apart from the hub they were so rusted on there so i just went and bought new rotors

    YES! When you buy the rotor for our trucks you get just that, a rotor. The part where the bearings go to is separate but the rotor bolts to that and you have to take that piece off in order to remove the rotor.
