whose done it ? I have 5% on top of 15% all the way around my titan, I want the windsheild done to but how dark is tooo dark ???? im thinking 30 will be fine and 15 may push it ??? anyone know ?

 

Illegal ,front can't be tinted except area @ top for sun screen!

 

^^^ you can only go 4" down here in Idaho. Anything more is illegal. With the rest of the windows, front doors 35%, anything behind the driver 20%

 

the tint shop I go to has ceramic tint that is 100% uv reflective and is clear.

You can have all the benefits of the entire windshield tinted without crappy night time driving or getting pulled over.

I dont want it to protect my eyes, I want it so you cant see through my windows, I like the privacy...

I dont care if I get a ticket(I dont want one but it wont kill me ), it doesnt take points off and if anything I can pull it off since its a fix it ticket.. also legal limit in the front is 30% 15% in the rear I have 5% on top of 15% all the way around some im illegal to the max already...my head lights are bright as helllllll but still dont want it too dark to where I cant see at night... has anyone had this done and know what its like ????

also parents are 20+ year city cops, my tag is registered to my moms name so when I get my tag ran it comes back completely private which only law enforcement get around here so the few times ive been pulled over they thought I was narc or under cover something because TPD does have a few Titans they use for drug busts... it helps me get away with a lot of crap.. knock on woodddd...

 

california cops are tint nazis so its great over here. The shop I use is in newport beach but a lot shops will have it.. you will have to ask for it specifically though and its more expensive. ($150)

I drive 3 cars with it regularly and I will do my truck as soon as I replace my windshield.. again

 

my buddy has it on his magnum and i drive with him and nobody can see u... its kinda cool, but night driving is a lil bit darker but its the rear that kills him at night, the front u can still see pretty clear

 

cops are not nazis here at all... extremely laid back for the most part but they do the job..

what %% do you have ? how is it at night ? also I have a buddy with a shop here in tampa he charges 100 for everything and like 40 for windshield

also im going to tint over the strip I have at the top so the top will be darker and make the whole thing not stand out as much

 

what % is it ? does he have stock head lights or hids on it ?

 

my friend just got his dodge ram done, and the same day got popped for it. he threw the sides down and the cop made a u turn and cited him for the windshield. the he bitched about having to take it off, but none of us gave him any sympathy. the unmarked cop cars around here are tinted in the front.

 

30% with 15% all the way around I think would be to dark, I had 50% with 15% all the way around and it was perfect, if you have a dark interior it will look alot darker

 

lol yall think its bad where yall live in va if its not stock its illegal but if you do get them tinted 50% is pushing it .... i hate va so bad lol and thing is if you drive through va your vehicle has to meet va law so it doesnt matter if you have outta state tags they will still bust you for tint or anything that isnt legal in va sooo all i gotta tell ya man dont drive that thing up here man lol

 

If its stock, the cops can't do anything about it. A Seattle cop tried to do that to me once with my headlights, I found out that he couldn't cause I didn't reside in WA. He couldn't even ticket me.

You can't have tint at all in Oregon from what I've heard. Have never had any problem when I drive there.

i dont know any stock vehicles that have tinted windshields but yea in va as long as it came factory like that its legal. but anything darker than 50% they are really dicks about

 

Yeah, I can understand the windshields. I was talking bout the rest of the windows, sorry. Imo, I think its dumb having the front tinted, its harder to see at night. Now the anti-glare is different.

Likewise, you can also get it limo tinted with the strip, I believe.

Here, depending on the cop, you can get pulled over for having a sticker on the front windshield. Most of the time they don't care tho, as long as its not to obstructive. We can also paint the back window black as long as you have both side mirrors.
