Hey guys! An old friend of mine from high school messaged me yesterday on myspace. Seems he bought a '70 Hilux, haven't seen it yet. He wants to know where he could go to get parts to restore it. I did refer him here & told him "you've got questions, we've got awnsers". But since I don't have an older Hilux, I'm not sure where a good place to go. I did tell him to check out the local junk yards. Any help would be awesome!

That's a good start, also hit up craigslist,locally and in any town you feel like traveling to, and even tho it sucks, eBay.
Coming here and posting would be his best choice for help and parts...

+ we get a new truck to look at and try to buy off of him.......

he's pretty much limited to used parts. they don't make crap for pre 79 trucks. i can only find mechanical parts for my truck, and some window seals. i check ebay daily and have yet to see someone parting one out......
