I’m looking for advice on auto glass repair. Recently, I noticed a small crack on my car’s windshield, and I’m unsure whether to repair it myself or take it to a professional.

I’m particularly concerned about safety, cost, and the long-term durability of the repair. Are there certain types of cracks that are easier to fix than others?
