Yeah. Truck looks great! I thought blackouts looked hot, but those clears are somewhat Altezza style! Nice!:waytogo:

thanks! yea, im really digging the mod i did on these. looks good.

here's more of what ive done.......

finally tied up the cut out section of the main x-member and plated in the cut out section. definately stiffened up the chassis again. not as much frame flex on the road........ (yes i could tell a difference)

    pffft!!!! cat thieves

yea, i will be painting it a bright or super white again after im done with body work. there's alot planned for this and i am half way there.....

anywhoo..... i spent the day changing out the suspension bushings about and also tuned in my torsions a bit stiffer. i had a hell of a time with the lower control arm bushings and took me most of the day...... i started somewhere around noon and was cleaning the garage by around 9. given i didnt have a good tool to remove the bushings, some time was spent making my own pulling tool to remove the seized metal sleeve in the rubber bushing. mainly used a long bolt, a few big washers and a cut up peice of tube. i'd go into further detail but that'd be too complicated to explain the process of what i did........ anyhow, some parting shots for the night. :waytogo:

yea...... they are bil's. they handle absolutely nice with my current setup. its smooth but firmwhere it needs to be. through the choppy stuff they are great and through the big bumps and dips in the road they are even better. defintely worth the investment. :waytogo:

you can find the shocks on ebay for about 50 bux each if yer lucky, 60 maybe

the saw's you can pick up anywhere from as low as 75 to 100 used..... new they go for about 160 to 200......

all my front bushings cost me about 100 bux.

Sway-A-Way (aka racerunner suspensions) short "SAW" torsion bars...

yea, this guy has loads of them laying around but unfortunately he is closing shop by the end of this month due to higher costs of leasing and such.... i hate to see him go.... he's been my go-to guy ever since my first yota.
