AC Recharge with retrofit valves

    I went ahead and bought and installed the retrofit valves to convert r12 to r134a.. it's not working like more modern cars, any special steps to get this to work? Thanks

    Assuming your compressor is good, most important thing is getting all the air out of the system before recharging!!

    I'll give it a try.. I think it might have to do with manually engaging the compressor clutch.. so got a few things to try..
