I bought the silicone hoses from LCE. DO NOT BUY THEM! GARBAGE! They fit like shit! I had to use regular oem replacements from the local auto parts store. Alternator I bought rebuilt and upgraded from Ebay.

As far as Mathew, it is headed straight for us. We are as prepared as can be. House is Shuttered up, we have food, generators, Gas, and water for at least a week. I had to drive to the indian reservation in the everglades to get gas to avoid the lines and shortages locally in the last couple days. This is not my first Rodeo. We have been through all the biggest storms and are taking this one very seriously! Category 4 is no joke and this thing can still head straight for me if it wants to. We are pretty far west inland but just south of where the eye could make landfall about 75 miles away in West Palm Beach. I am in West Broward County just North of Miami. Truck is sitting secured on a lift in a solid concrete building not too far from Hollywood Beach. Hoping for the best! We think we will be ok though. More worried about it inconveniencing us by knocking out power or looping around and coming back at us like some of the possible forecasts for next week.

Thanks for your concern guys! I will let you know how it goes.

Such a clean truck. Read through it completely. So rad.

Hope you and your family are well during all this craziness.

We are good. Dodged a bullet again. Hopefully it doesn't loop back around like they are saying it might. Better to be safe than sorry.

Still have to time it and set the idle. She runs again though! Power steering feels alot smoother now! Still haven't driven it to know for sure if my steering issues are fixed once and for all. I also have to get it aligned on Monday. Have a couple of other things to finish up and clean up. Having some issues with the stock water temp gauge. We tested it and it wouldn't go past 1/2. I have read that people have issues with them so I decided to opt for an AutoMeter pro comp water temp gauge.

The powder coat on the LCE valve cover is a lot nicer than the powdercoat I had done on the intake. It's not a match, but I think it still looks nice. Still want to pressure wash and paint the engine compartment black.

While I had some hurricane down time, I finally finished wrapping my kick panels to match the rest of the interior. I still have to do the grab handles now.

Test run moving her back into the shop after taking it off the lift finally. It still needs to be timed, have the idle adjusted and needs an alignment.

I read that too. I have had them about a year now and I haven't had any issues yet.

My last truck had those Gabriel shocks, and the fittings weren't that great, so keep an eye on it. They would lose pressure pretty fast, so someone suggested I go to hard lines, and that fixed it. No more going out to my truck and it being 2 inches lower than when I parked it.

I've seen a lot of those tails and they look nice, any chance anyone know whether they will fit an 84-88 year pickup?

I know you've probably mentioned this already but what are the wheel/tire specs?
