I want to get some new wheels for my '73 and was wondering what I can fitt under it without rubbing? What kind of offsewt or back spacing will work? I really want to put a 14x8, 14x9, 15x8, or 15x9 on it 14x9 or 15x9 would be awesome and first choice. I've been looking at Basset Racing and Diamond Racing wheels but don't know where to start or options to order...

Here is my current setup at stock height, 15x7, zero offset I think(I know the tires are too big):

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks,

Didn't want to make yet another thread with questions about wheels -- anyone know if a stock heep cherokee Enkei wheel will fit on a lowered 73-78 hilux? I'm assuming they will bolt up fine, but wasn't sure if the spacing is correct for lowering purposes. They are the gold mesh Enkei wheels.
    Thanks!

Looked up specs, they are 15x7 with +35mm offset (around 5.25"?) and 71.5mm bore

Thinking based on that, I might need a wheel spacer?

The wheels on my Hilux, two posts up are 15x7 with a 0 offset, I definitely think that a +35mm offset will rub/hit something. A 30mm spacer should put them flush and a 35 should be just past flush.
