I have this gap on the driver side door. Its very obvious on the top front, the gap is biggest at the top. It makes a whistling sound when I drive on the freeway and I can feel air coming in after I reach 30mph. I can not wash it because it leaks water in. I have taken it to a body shop to get an idea of what it is and they told me that the door seal is missing. I have replaced the door seal that goes around the door and there is no seal around the cabin it self is there? I don't see any wholes or marks of ever being one.

Here is a pic you can see a white line on the inside of the door between the door and the cabin. I don't think the doors have ever been replaced they look to be original the paint on the door hinge bolts is still there. The window rolls up and down fine, the door closes fine. Is there anything else i can look for that would give some sort of sign to why that is happening? Cause I doubt Toyota rolled this out of the factory like that.

    Open door
    Stand between door and body
Place both hands on the upper door frame.
Press knee of choice near the bottom of the window opening while pulling the upper door frame towards you.

Do this little by little until the gap is closed.

That's damn near poetic haha. Brute force seems to be the answer for more than I originally thought in these trucks.

Place a 2x4 between the body & door while applying force ,also you can check the seal with a dollar bill ,using like a feeler gauge, put between the door & colse, then pull it out, tighter is good!!

This method was not a such a good idea. It disrupted the window pattern and the window wont roll up all the way. It also squeaks real bad every dog in 5 mile radius is trying to cover its ears. So I pull it back to make the window roll up but the squeak/shriek is still there.
