no, toyota never made the 3vz-e with a turbocharger. But however i will be creating one soon im gettin custom forged pistons n connecting rods. im gonna be running at least 20 psi.
Yeah, already looked into it. Was going to run a megasquirt EMS and really did the research. There is one company who was trying to make a kit just recently, but they were having problems with the Factory ECU trying to bug out on them. Megasqirt is the way to go, but in the end, unless you just want something different, it's not really worth the hassle. I ended up with my 1jz..... Way less expensive, even with me doing all the work. But, more power to you! literally.
The 7M is a great motor and cheap compared to a 1j or 2j and way cheaper than a 1.5j (but that's another story.) It's really not a huge undertaking. Especially if you go automatic if you are already. You need an engine/tranny/harness/ECU combo (ebay all day). The biggest hurdles will be fabricating engine mounts, ordering a new driveshaft, and wiring it up.
