v6 3.0 engine turbo???

    it may sound crazy, but, I'm wondering if toyota made a v6 3.0 turbo engine?? I need ideas.

    No they did not; however, there is the 3.0L turbo I6 engine that came in supra's.

    no, toyota never made the 3vz-e with a turbocharger. But however i will be creating one soon im gettin custom forged pistons n connecting rods. im gonna be running at least 20 psi.

    Yeah, already looked into it. Was going to run a megasquirt EMS and really did the research. There is one company who was trying to make a kit just recently, but they were having problems with the Factory ECU trying to bug out on them. Megasqirt is the way to go, but in the end, unless you just want something different, it's not really worth the hassle. I ended up with my 1jz..... Way less expensive, even with me doing all the work.

    But, more power to you! literally.

    how much hassle is it to put a 1jz into my pickup, since it has a stock v6 3.0 engine??

    Yeah im seriously considering putting a 1JZ in my Yota.... That or a 7MGTE for lower costs.

    The 7M is a great motor and cheap compared to a 1j or 2j and way cheaper than a 1.5j (but that's another story.)

    It's really not a huge undertaking. Especially if you go automatic if you are already. You need an engine/tranny/harness/ECU combo (ebay all day).

    The biggest hurdles will be fabricating engine mounts, ordering a new driveshaft, and wiring it up. None of which are too big of a project for anyone.
