They list a 18-202 for the 84-88 and a 18-801 for the 79-83 arnt they the same thing? They look identical in the pictures. You can bolt up the newer upper and lower control arms on the older trucks to use drop spindles.

    Just curious.

Why I ask is I Bought some prothane bushings off of eBay for pretty cheap they were supposed to be the 18-201 for the 79-83 but I got the 18-202 for the newer trucks.

The lower bushing is the same I checked on prothanes site, they have the same part number, the uppers have different number but look the same. Just curious if I can use them or do I need to buy the hole kit again from a different place

I'd say to pull it apart and see but those bushings are a bastid to install. My best suggestion would be to pick up the "correct" bushing kit and compare them and return what's wrong. If the later stuff won't work I'm sure you could sell them on here without issue and recoup the cash.

Yeah I've heard there a bish but I've got access to a press and the ones that are in there are dry rotted they will hopefully fall out lol.

The seller on ebay I got them from want's me to pay shipping back to him even though he sent the wrong ones so screw that. I'll tare it down and see if there are the same. Was just curious if any body knew
