Well, due to the significant increase in engine clacking and other unhealthy noises commin from my 3.0L V6, i have decided to put a new motor in my Truck! I am getting a 22RE out of a 92 Truck and want to swap it in place of my V6. Any thoughts as too wether or not this is a big job or is it a rather easy engine swap. My reasons for downsizing are simplicity of the 22RE (easyier to work on), Gas mileage, and in my opinion a more reliable motor. Plus i plan on Baggin the truck this winter, and its easier done with the 22RE. So any imput would be greatly appreciated! Thx

    hmmm

Motor mounts need to be changed and the wiring harness too
massive time consuming and expensive job

most wise decision would be a new motor
if you must have the 22re get a new truck
best swap for your truck is a 5vze 3.4l v6 from a taco
www.offroadsolutions.com has 3.4 plug and play swap kits

    3.4 stock = 190hp
    3.4 w/ factory supercharger = 245hp
3.4 w/ factory supercharger 7th injector kit and tweaked 300+ hp
    minimal headaches

    1jz stock = 280hp
    1jz tweaked 350+ hp
