Not sure how you'd do it and keep VAST. I'm sure it's possible though, as a lot of guys swap out the coils. Probably as simple as just using the two wires going to the existing coil.

I'm not a drag racer, in fact this was the first time I've ever been there. I got in eight runs that night. All consistent. Absolutely no wheel spin. I was really hoping to be in the 13's, but due to the slow 60' time, it wasn't achievable.

I'm the "bike" on the right, except that I brought a few extra tires and a bed.

To put it into perspective, my buddy was running 13.8's with a 99mph trap speed and 2.05 second 60'. If I could get the turbo to spool quicker by getting a higher stall convertor, I could leave under boost.

Here's my best time with a undercarbed(weber 32/36) built n/a 22r and stock 4 speed, and a little bit of wheel spin when hitting second. (Sorry the pic is crooked!)

I thought you would've been faster than that.. looks like you have another upgrade coming though:waytogo:

Ha. No. Aside from a low stall, there isn't anything wrong with it. And the low stall only really affects the times at at the track.

I got 630 cc injectors and a new Aeromotive rising rate FPR. I'm headed to 24 pounds... Maybe then I'll swap to a five speed, if the auto fails on me.

would you mind posting your cranking and priming pulse tables? Or ASE settings? I'm having a hard time getting the cold starts nailed down in my tune and would just like some kind of reference.

Haha. True. Cold starts are tough to tune because of the fact that you only get one or two tries a day.

I'll post up the tune soon.

As much as I dislike most auto's I'd stuff an AW4 from a 2 wheel drive Cherokee in there. Along with all of Rory's goodies available at RAD. I'd bet there is a higher stall converter available from a smaller engine but any decent trans shop should be able to modify the stock converter for whatever stall you'd like.

Yeah, FTI Convertors is right down the street, I'm going to have to have them modify a core. If this Trans grenades, then I'll consider a beefier one, or a 5 speed swap.

I like 5 speeds too (who doesn't), but this serves my purpose as of right now.

Hahaha! True story. My cup holder doesn't stay in though, after a little while it jiggles out. The little clip that holds it in is broken.

I am not having good luck with turbos. The O ring between the compressor back plate and the center section is leaking....

Got the turbo back from Precision.

They are awesome. Instead of just replacing the O-ring, they sent a whole new center section. Just repainted it, should have it reinstalled this weekend.

    Great build up thread !
Just read threw the whole thing , very informative.
    Few questions for you ....
Where did you purchase that trigger wheel ?
Also what coil pack are you running ?
I am about to swap my ECU to a Haltech Sprint 500.
That way I can run boost in the very near future .

    Awesome truck !

Thanks, the trigger wheel and coil are both from DIY autotune.
