i think thats what im going to do im pretty sure that smoothy bumper wont fit anyways where its the 2wd bumper anyways if i keep the the chrome one i need a new valence mine has been drug to much and doesnt look good anymore where can i get just the valance everywhere wants to sell the whole bumper
You should be able to get a lower valance from any body shop. Most shops get their parts from a company called "Keystone" cause they are cheaper & for being aftermarket oem parts they fit really good. Oh & that 2wd smoothy bumper will work with the 4wd fenders...it wont site as low as the 4wd bumper & valance, but it will fit. Here is a pic of one... 4wd fenders with a 2wd bumper/valance. Not 100% smooth, but it is a 2wd bumper/valance with the 4wd fenders.
thanks donny i think im goin to keep the 4x4 one just because it lays on the ground lol but i am loving that green on that yota gah i cant make up my mind on colors for the paint !!!!!! the guy that has that toyota smoothy bumper just came across an awsome deal he traded an almost complety stock blazer (square body) for a stock floor body drop 94 toyota project it has this wicked notch and 4 link set up that lays on 20s im trying to get him to join up on here and post pics of it il post pics of it later
thanks man i went to a junk yard and he tried to sell me one that wasnt near perfect at all for 30 bucks! i bought croaked
looks good man, I hate to say but I hope whoever did the interior design is in a nother buisness now lol... but the outside is perfect
i don't know how hard, but i wish you were closer to az so i could help! i've wanted to do that for so long.
it probably wouldn't be too hard. cut the window channel from the 4runner hatch out and weld it into the back of the cab, then install the slides and motors. how similiar are the 4runner windows and the pickups glass?
looks a ton different i even think the 4runner is curved more than the hilux idk if my cab is tall enough to do it
lol i just realized that i posted this in the completly wrong year for my truck im like a decade off hahahah but anyways what kind of valance is this and is anyone running it i know i dont see this valance often and how hard is to find a billet insert for it
well damn i forgot the picture its on a 4x4 but it looks like the bumper part is more similar to the 2wd bumper.
there are a few guys in oz who have done the electric rear window from a runner conversion...so it can be done...need to weld in the whole rear section basicly...rear fire wall all the way up
i think it would be way cool to have one i loved it in my old delsol but here is an up date and idk why the bumper pic didnt ever show up so il post it again im finishing up the dash right now i made caps for the ends and welded them up and started spreading mud........... spreading alot of putty iv done put a half a qt of filler in it was pretty warped from heat from the welder but nothing ya cant fix....
i hope so man iv put enough work in it lol thats hard work when you do the whole thing with sanding blocks doing it all by hand lol iv put half a quart of filler in it and it still isnt straight but idc im happy lol
thats what i like about mini trucks! nobody cares if there is mud on it. when i was having my 66 mustangs body restored i was freaking out about filler on dings and replaced almost all the sheetmetal to keep the mud down. at the local shows everybody always asked each other if their cars had mud on it.
yea i hate puttin it all in there but i got to do what i got to do to get it straight i would use all metal to keep the mud down but its just a dash so im not goin to stress it
