I'm trying to find a project 2wd truck for when the summer comes. No one has a static minitruck in alaska (anchorage anyways) and I was wanting to make it super unique along with being a first one. I wanted to do some ridiculous stuff to make it stand out. I am going to make a hood-exhaust exit and make some good spacers. I know it sounds dumb but it will be unique. Anybody got unique ideas I should do to my truck? I don't want huge wheels and a custom paint job, just looking for ideas

Welcome. It would be interesting to see a slammed mini in Alaska. Been there twice and have never seen one myself either. So your saying you want a hood stack or something? That would be extremely loud and annoying for a daily, but I'm not here to stop ya. At least shoot it past the cab. Maybe you will be the one to get the mini scene going up there? Good luck on your build.:waytogo:

Maybe a custom bed? I've always wanted to make something custom on the back of one of these trucks...either a utility/flatbed customized to haul motorcycles, under side lockable storage ect, or a custom camper bed with amenities for sleeping and camping.

Yea a hood exit exhaust would be awfully loud without a way to muffle it, maybe a tractor exhaust with vertical muffler out the hood? Then you could put one of those flappers on top of it to keep rain out lol

I understand wanting to do something unique and different but a hood exit exhaust is not they way it should be done and what do you mean by "make some good spacers"?
If no one up there has a static lowered truck, wouldn't doing that be unique already and make it stand out?

Sorry I ment "hood" spacers, I know the hood exhaust sounds kinda dumb and all and super loud but if I think if I fab it up enough I can make some sort of silencer somehow to make it a little more quiet
