Hi, just figured I'd join here it was suggested by someone I talked to.

I'm not new to Toyotas or the 22RE, since I was 16 I had a 1984 Celica GTS, I've had a few others with well over 300k miles.

I've had quite a few other toyotas....1985 long bed 4x4, 1987 4Runner, 1983 Celica GTS, 1982 Celica GT, 1985 Celica Supra, 1984 Celica Supra, 1987 Supra Turbo, 1988 Supra NA Targa, 1994 Corolla...there were probably more..

Right now I'm happy to be back in a 22RE vehicle..I picked up a decently clean red 1994 Toyota 2wd Short cab with 120k miles for $2000.

So far I've been restoring it some. Replaced the cracked Cluster dash, new front shocks, painted the steel wheels black. Nice bluetooth Kenwood Excelon head unit.

I have lots of plans for the future to make it really nice and customized for my needs. I tow and haul motorcycles a lot, so I need functionality in addition to being custom.

I'm no slouch around the garage, I build and race early 1990's yamaha Street bikes. I have a shop in Shrewsbury PA and have started doing work this year.

looking forward to contributing to the site and learning a lot more as I work on my truck.

I'll get another after I get it off the jack stands. Installing a Doug Thorley header and had to wait on the S-pipe to be shipped...

That is the connection between the header and catalytic converter. I think it is usually called the "downpipe" but the header is so long, it doesn't really go down...

Oh ok well the shop did mine. It seems fine but the 2 middle heads of the 4 had a factory made grove that would leak out air. They welded a bead and sanded it smoth because that was causing a nad exhaust leak to where it kept burning my gaskets.
