for sure, the rear end is worth quite a bit. i paid $136 for my 89 i.r.s. and $78 for my 2jz.

Oh and StupidSheet. As for the engine.... is there any way you can make sure it runs? The 7M's are horrible for head gaskets. And going buy the fatty intercooler and the wreck...... id say it was driven hard. Very hard.
But if it runs and you could get it for 500 youd be doing well. If it doesnt run... make sure it rolls over! I got one that was siezed up ROCK solid. Head, Pistons AND Turbo!

actually from what i've read on supracharged it is very similiar to the 7m's. i just haven't had any time to get out in the garage and play with it.

SVS: I'm not sure if they will let me try start it or not. I've only been to one of these auctions once before and it was about 20 years ago. They did things alot different back then. I had a question for you though,do you run AC with your's or are you at least able to?

 

Well it sold for $900, a little more than I had to spend at the moment. It did look to be in decent shape and had less than 100k miles. Oh well I guess I'll keep my eyes open.

 

Aww to bad. Did they say if the motor was in it still or not? And if it ran?

As for the A/C im not running any. Im sure you could... but it would be tons more work. Trying to mount the condenser, and the compressor would hit the frame.... so that would have to get notched....

I just run with my window down, arm hanging out!

 

Ya the motor was there. It looked pretty clean too. The intercooler was pooched though. Don't know if it was running or not but it looked like it could've started up.

 

Well keep looking!
