Here's a pic of my 15x7 0 offset. Very close. Just slow down a little when turning. No rub so far.

maybe I calculated the offset wrong. It's a 7 inch rim, with 5.5 inches of backspacing which I calculated, according to a formula from the internet, to be approx 38 mm positive offset.

My stock wheels are 6 inch with 4.5 inches of backspace. The tires rub when I turn. A 7 inch rim with a 185/65 tire gives me same overall diameter but some play in the overall width of the tire. This way I can keep the same front spacing I have now and not rub. Only problem is it looks like it may rub in the back.

May cause a problem in the rear too with the spring plate, but I was thinking of running an inch less backspacing in the rear to get a deeper dish in the front of the rim.

Yea, my tire is actually tucked up inside the fender by about 2 inches. The spindles did it. LCA and BJ flip I was sitting about where you are and not rubbing. This is where I want it, just need to get rim size right for when I order them.

How low did you lowered it? Mine is on drop arms so I think it is either 2-3 up front. Back I had to slight hammered the fork where the mounting bolts holding the plastic well liner because it was very close.

I'm down a good 6 inches in the front. Have the DJM LCAs(3) Belltech spindles(2) and BJ flip(1)

The back will be down 7 when I get my blocks from streetaco. Belltech springs(3) blocks(4)

Get 15x7 0 offset or anywhere to +25 will give it a good stance look.

Then you don't want 0 offset. Best is +20 to +35. You could stop by american tire and see if they would test fit for you. That's what I did. I went from 17x7 +40 to 15x7 0 offset. I'm happy with it now since I need it to haul stuff.

My 14x6 rub with +25mm offset. If I get a 15x7 and do same offset, I'll stick out another half inch, which wont tuck. This is the reason I need that extra half inch from the wider rim put into the offset, so the face of the 15x7 is exactly where the 14x6 is.

Since I'll be using a tire with the same "measured" section width, but on a wider rim, the overall width of the tire only increases by 0.4 inches while the width of the rim increases by a whole inch. This will eliminate the rub to the fender. Lots of math on tirerack.com

If I could run a larger diameter rim, like a 17 this wouldn't be a problem cause all the suspension would fit inside the rim. Only problem the rims I want for the look I'm going for with the truck only come in 15.

With that much drop you need 4x4 fenders.

Yea, I considered it, but I like the more streamline look of the 2wd ones. Plus If I did the fenders, I'd have to find a 4wd bed to match the flare out. Not sure they made a 4wd long bed in the 85 body style range.

If all else fails, I'll just go with a 15x6 and add a half inch of backspacing from stock. This will clear the fender with the tire, and not hit the suspension. Only downside is I loose some of my depth in the front of the wheel.

Ok, I was wrong, but not sure where your finding spindles for $600. autopartswarehouse has the DJM control arms for $220 and the belltech spindles for $270. Both come in pairs. The only lowering component I bought that comes separate were the leaf springs.
