tail light covers or fillers? i have never found fillers so i made my own. used sheetmetal, hammer and dolly, and a sand bag.
yep, you place the metal on the sandbag as you hammer in the rough shape. it absorbs the impact and forms the metal really easy.
pretty much. you'll still get some dings but thats were the dolly comes in. i honestly made mine in about 20 minutes a piece. didn't cost me anything since it was scrap metal lying around.
do u kno wut they use to make it look like taillights have been molded over but then behind the paint u can still see the lights?
i think that it is the factory lights molded in. then painted over. my buddy painted his taillights to match the color of his truck, but first we used a skull stencil and put down some primer, then painted. at night you could see a bunch of skulls shining through. it was sweet!
i made a quick one out of a heavy pillow case. it works awesome. my friend is a black smith and has a leather one. he got it from http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemID=1482&itemType=PRODUCT&path=1%2C2%2C1397%2C1406%2C1410&KickerID=465&KICKER i wish i could put up some of his work but he don't like it being on the net. its in a few magazines i will se if i can find a pic online.
i could try but he's not very computer/technology literate. i think the only way i can get a pic is to go there, but it's 50miles away. i'll see what i can do.
