Well this is going to be a major first for me. I've never really had a project vehicle before and I'm beyond excited to begin with my 1993 ExCab. Looking to keep it static for a long time and then maybe go for bags in the way future, always wanted to throw sparks down a freeway.

Ill start off with a little background on the vehicle. I bought the truck for $1000 from my girlfriends stepdad who had purchased the truck brand new off the lot with 8 miles on it back in 93. It's sitting at 265,657 miles right now and gets driven daily since I've grown tired of driving my 97 Blazer 4x4 around. Here are some pics I have of it all stock right now.

When you arw ready for interior contact David Corn of Hudson Rod&Custom. The are in strawberry Plains. They have done 3 full toyota ineriors for me and do great work. Your truck has lots of life in it and look forward to the build. Reminds me alot of my white 92 when i got it 8 years ago.

I'll Definitely keep them in mind when I get to fixing up the interior. So far the door popping off is the only issue other than some minor carpet stains. Thanks for that heads on the shop close by to me.

Oh...Well dang it. Guess I'll be going to some yards to find 2 to replace those. Didn't know that came off, it didnt want to budge so I left it be. The blocks seem to be doing alright for now though.

Got an update for the day. Got my BJ flips done. Did both uppers and lowers since I was down there. Used 3 1/2"x1" spacers on each bolt on the lower and left the top plain. These are the washers I used
    Shop Blue Hawk 4-Count 1/2-in x 1-in Zinc-Plated Standard (SAE) Flat Washers at Lowes.com

Coming along really nice buddy! For your roof, I have an idea you may like. You might have seen the little craze here of guys wrapping their hoods with shelf liner (mostly in wood grain). I did mine in the leather looking stuff, in black. It's held up great for a few months and it was like five bucks. You could do the hood as well.

And I'm glad I'm not the only GTA5 fan here. That Rebel is pretty slick. 84-88 with a 79/80 grille and lights. Too bad it isn't faster lol.

Funny I hadnt paid any attention to my thread as I've been reading, pretty much, everyone else's build up threads. Would have seen your post a lot sooner and to add to it I just have happened to do the woodgrain hood this morning haha. got some pics to upload. Haven't gotten anything new done to the truck other than changing a tire do to a flat I got. Time for some pics.

There's a shadow in the middle of the hood from the trees behind me but you get the idea. I'm pretty happy with it so far and for $4 I'll redo it as needed if I feel like it.

Upcoming stuff will be new rims hopefully in a month or so http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItemDescV4&item=331060244890&t=0&tid=10&category=43953&seller=summitracing_sales&excSoj=1&excTrk=1&lsite=100&ittenable=true&ittdefault=true#EXTDESC

Gotta get a new header too since I've got a nice exhaust leak going on from mine. Then HID's with Ebay projector lenses and interior stuff(rear speakers in the cubby holes, maybe a sub at the same time as that if possible)

The shadow of the tree makes a nice visual like the wood has been burnt. I've never seen someone do that before. Looks cool though

Yeah it does look like it gives it an extra bit of attitude/flare to it. Kinda wish it was like that all the time whenever I see the pics again. Thanks for the compliment. You've got a sick truck to man.

Just a vote of faith for shelf liner. Mine is still holding up good from six months ago. Keep debating wrapping a whole vehicle in it.

Those are just regular headlights with fauxjectors.

    Truck's looking good, though.

Eh who cares what the new headlights are called lol. May not be the best on the market, but compared to an old ass 6054 its a major improvement. Looks better in daytime too.
