Well sob!! Just bought a brand new loaded head, all new upper gaskets, while im getting exciteded to finally fireup just have to get the intake on i realize two of my fuel injectors are broke... Well burst my bubble.. Anyways autozone wants 140$ per injector which is absolutely rediculous!! So im here looking for and giving advice. I check a website called autohausaz for parts regularly and theyre great on pricing and shipping is free over 50$. Ships anywhere from 2-5 days in the u.s. injectors are 64$ each on there for example Now... To be honest unless im going to upgrade to some bigger aftermarket injectors i still dont want to pay that much haha If anyone has any leads on so good conditioned used ones im willing to pay a reasonable price. I would just send your set to Fuel Injector Cleaning. they do great work and fast service. I know its not what you wanna here but reuse what you have.
I would def reuse them but its the plastic around the nozzle that has literally cracked and broke off. Otherwise id try just cleaning them haha. I wish they would just make replacement caps for the nozzle it would make life so much wasier then dumping all that money on the whole set
i think those caps are replaceable... dont quote me on it but i think they are. anyways. you can also get these as a good upgrade. 22RE Type-F Equalized Fuel Injector Set (89-95) they make a real good noticeable difference all across the board. if yer gonna need to buy injectors, may as well upgrade to these.
