No you don't. You can recalibrate the stock tach very easily. Search Yotatech and it will tell you how.

Anyone know how to get the Oil Pressure to read??

 

Yep...go to any parts store or the dealer & ask for an oil sending unit for the "gauge" model truck. There are 2 different ones & once you get that the sending unit will work!

 

Hmmmmm okie so it came out of a 93 with a 22re. Will that work on a 7M?

 

if the treads are the same and the size..
