started making the custom panels for the doors. waiting for the material to come in. will then eventually trim all the "dynamat" knock off once i get the panel installed.

How are you gonna cover it? Just a smooth piece of vinyl/cloth or is there gonna be an accent panel/design to it? I'm at the same point myself. Could wrap my panels but am thinking about an accent piece of some kind. Maybe just build a larger arm rest and cover it differently.

I could just use the old rest. But I really dont care for it right now. Im just going to wrap it with a cloth material once I get it in and see how it looks. Anything is going to look better then the old Smurf blue panels. I also want to change out the door handles with a pull tab . Seen it done on miatas.

Today I drove around and hunted for a new job. Then sat down at the lake in the bed and had a burger. Nice relaxing day. Now it's time to take my console out an start wrapping it. Figure I have a few day til the show, I should do something to it lol. And the console has been bare fiberglass for 4 years, time for a change.

Is that real carbon fibre or fake? The idea looks slick. Gives me some ideas if I tire of my painted dash inserts.

Today I covered my door panels. Decided not to make a full coverage panel just yet. It's nice black vinyl that mimics leather sort of. Going to add the same material to the center console, kick panels and a few other areas.

Also, I came up with an idea today. Got a roll of faux leather contact paper and did my hood and the leading edge of my grille. Looks pretty awesome. Hope it holds up past the weekend.

Today I installed my mechanical temp gauge and cleaned my wheels.. Decided I need to know exactly what temp I'm running, and I was sick of looking at filthy wheels:cool:

Today I walked past mine and thought heap of 5hit, damn thing is in the way of getting my 83 200 ATC and then thought I can not wait til I can put both my three wheelers on the back with my pee wee 80 and go down the beach.
Have the engine out and stripped down, all is good but the oil rings are not doing there job and nor could they, damn I can not wait to get this thing street legal and enjoy the 80km/h cruise speed

Well I did it yesterday, but I put my new dash pad in! Amazing what something so simple can do for the look of a truck!

I also got the idea today of doing something similar to madness with the wood grain shelf liner, but I kind of want to do plaid pattern :D
