So. Heres my hilux that i found out in the back of our property with a forest of weeds growing in and around it (i have a pic of where it was burried just have to find it)It was my dads when he was a mechanic and i found it at the property and couldnt keep my eyes off it. So as my first truck at 15 i rebuilt the motor and painted it and made mounts for race bucket seats since my tall ass couldnt even get in with the bench seat. LOL but that wasnt stopping me . This truck has been my education for mechanics and Auto body at 15 now im almost 18 taller and better than ever lol. I love this truck people give me **** for it thinking im some kid that doesnt know real horse power uh haha ok growing up in racing sports and family who race and drag race... I love american muscle but these old hiluxs and stouts get me going hahahahah. So at the start i didnt do any electrical it already had a race intake and exhaust system on it headers and all with webers. and it has the jap model of the 18r

And well wanted something to offroad and jump and dick around in. And stalk the night

But there were flaws from wiring not being replaced and it liked to catch on fire..alot haha once with the girly in there she said i should sell or scrap the thing i told her shes border line single right now.

...OH YEAH!...cops love me!


But i took it to the desert and pulled this sh*t

So the truck sat like this and you can see fire damage with original yellow and rust


now its looking like this


so im rebuilding the motor at this very moment and ill make sure to take tons more of pics. But right now i have race ignition for it and electronic fuel system the whole deal. Im redoing the entire truck into a street truck so prepare for good pics and work and info and such i know right now this post is looking crappy but let me get some pics of current work and youll like it!

My headers with a bunch of crap old 18rc anyone want?

My steering Coupler which got pooped on majorly time to make a new one.

Sh*tty old springs that are 40 years old..yeah 40 the ride was like

The interior is pretty stripped... but it was all orig when i first got it...I dont like things original... as you can see haha

 

That looks like grabber green engine enamel. I've used it before. Looking better each day. As for interior, there's lots you can do to make it better. Bucket seats and console, new door panels, different steering wheel, new shifter, add dash gauges, stereo, carpet, ect. Check my build for ideas. I've changed just about everything.

 

Thanks man and so far with interior i have bucket seats for it with five point harness. and i like that wheel kinda just because its the race wheel my dad bought for it back in the 70s. and im doing blacked out led gauges inside and later when i have duh muneez im going to get one of those motec things and im having my bro make new door panels and head liner hes an interior freak. and im going to do a tall ass shifter kinda hahah and im putting in a cutting break and so on. and yeah its grabber green. i sprayed that part of dash for now because im not going to blow money on paint yet haha. I have more pics i believe ill post now

 

After i put the spring and yeah there a rust whole that i pounded out going to weld in a patch


How it sits with out motor or trans in this is how it sat with the motor and trans IN before with old springs so we will see... but i need a stiffer spring i dont like these stock ones but i got them for free and they were worn..
