I have my 94 pickup and just bought a rolled 4wd frame and all suspension seems fine but body and interior is shot. Are the frames the same or should I just put my body it its frame. Are the bodies all the same how easy r hard is it gonna be?

The only difference in the body is there is no hole for the t case shifter and the front fenders have a flare so the marker lights are different. Otherwise it's all the same stuff.

Ok sweet... My frame actually is in a lot better shape are they the same or does the 2wd frame have all the holes to mount all the 4wd suspension? How bad is the wiring to switch bodies? Hoot thing is I have good runnin gear for both 2&4 wd trucks 2 good motors all for less than 3 grand

Yes the frames are different but the body is the same ergo a 2x body will in fact bolt right onto a 4x chassis.

Depending on year there may not be much wiring needing to be changed or there may be a whole harness swap. It's actually simple to swap the harnesses if needed, the dash harness is the hardest one to swap and even it is easy just time consuming.

They are both 1994 models I will have them sitting side by side when I do the swap both 22re trucks with air. I couldn't have gotten luckier on the purchase I don't guess. I plan to sell the left over parts from the 2wd when it's all finished that I won't be able to keep for spare on my new 4wd truck it only has 114k miles how much you think I can get for the rolling chassi minus motor and body?

a 2wd 4runner shares the same frame as the 4x4, they just left out the front drive stuff and transfer case.

Will the motor trans combo got in a 92 4runner with ease or is it a pain? Are the ifs and the rear diff the same in truck and runner? Maybe have a 4 runner donner body and good frame had te 3.0 in it with a auto

Motor mounts on the frame are different, runner rear axle housing is the same width but has mounts for links, coils and pan hard built in.
