86 cnotch & cross members

    I notched a nice little 86 this weekend. I did the notch and both cross members. He's going lower so these mods are required. :waytogo:

    I always liked a flat bend notch. Easier to install than a round one I assume. It makes me wanna out t notch on.

    He says he's at 3/4 in this pic but it looks lower than that to me. He is going lower though, but only a couple inches, and I would assume he means in back. Front looks pretty low to me. :shrug:

    Theyre definitely easier to make the cuts for the normal DIYer. I've had real good luck with this style notch for years and years now. These frames are amazingly strong for how thin they are. I had a bolt on kit on a Taco that got totaled from a rear ender and the frame was fine. :clapping:
