Hey guys. The names Jeremy. I used to be very active on here about 4-5 years ago for a couple years when I had my 1990 yota (see the very spammed chat thread I help start lol). That got wrecked due to some idiot chick who caused me to wreck but that's said and done. Anyways I'm back in the market for another truck and if all goes as it should, I will be buying one in the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to relearning this platform and meeting some of the new guys as well as catching up with some old members like burnzya and nvrenufedge

Found a couple. Actually going to see one tmw morning with only 170k on the body and fresh rebuild on the motor and new clutch/flywheel. Owner says he has the paperwork for it all so we'll see. Body looks damn good for a 93 as well

So you're getting an old truck or a newer truck?

 

Lookin at a 93 with 170 on it. Owner says it just got rebuilt and has a new clutch all under warranty. Ima see if he has the paperwork to validate it all. From the pics it looks pretty clean so ill find out tmw

That's right Dave! I'm back! So I went to check out that yota today and man it ran like a champ... Except for the CE light... Owner said it was due to the EGR valve. I found one on rock auto but my question is with that messing up should I still consider the truck? I can probably install the egr myself since it only looks to be right there behind the intake

 

5 total fasteners and 2 gaskets. Easy fix. I'd run a code scanner to make sure though.

 

Yeah that's what I figured. It's only like 4 on my car. If hell drop $200 off the price so I can buy a new egr I'd buy it. I just don't like on the interior how it needs a new driver side seatbelt. Bunch of little things that are easily fixable from a junkyard but I hate going hunting

 

id still snatch the truck up if he will be willing to drop a few hundred off the asking price. a morning in the junk yard and afternoon replacing parts will have a nice truck just in time to pop open a beer or two.

 

And for those of you what I've been pushing since I've left the yoga fam, here she is. A 97 dodge avenger on Megan coilovers, 18's which ill eventually change to 19" TSW's.
