So, my ex-wife & I were talking this morning about getting re-married. We've been divorced for a little over a year now, but worked things out. She asked me if I wanted to do it on hte same date as our first one (sept. 4). I said, no, I wanted earlier in the summer. Ya know how you see someone getting hitched at a truck show in MiniTruckin' mag every now & then. So jokingly, I said lets get married at a car/truck show in May thats happening here in Boise. Well, she said lets do it!

I'll let everyone know when it gets closer if it's gonna happen.

Why did you get divorced in the first place? I've found that breakups usually happen for a reason.

Part of it was, she's LDS, and I'm not. She wanted to go all gung-ho into the church again, which I had no objections to except I still wanted a drink every now & then, & she didn't want it in the house. Another part was her family was pushing her so hard to leave me (because I'm not LDS) that she gave in and did. Now she realizes that it was the biggest mistake she made. We rarely see her family now except her mom & dad. Things are better than ever!

Well that sounds quite a bit healthier than a lot of similar situations I've seen. As long as she doesn't let the religious nutballs get ahold of her again and influence her life like that, it sounds like you two should be good to go. :)

That was almost the exact same reason why one of my friends got a divorce. Good luck. Sounds like it will be better. Actually it sounds like it already is.
