Washed up the truck, upgraded interior dome lights to led's, license plate, corners, and backup lights... Also took the rear bumper off finally.

 

im watching my truck get a cloud bath. hope i didnt leave the windows down

The "hilux" in Australia is considered full sized and fills a standard car park with a standard 6X8 "flat top" tray, currently looking around the car park here for a hilux to show a comparison.

Things have been good on my side. I need to 3000grit wetsand my fenders again and compound them. I'll probably hit those up tomorrow.

 

Today I stopped by one of the local lakes for a few pics. Need to wash it, hasn't been cleaned since last summer lol.

 

Today I gave it a proper wash. Tomorrow ill wax and polish it. You'll be surprised how shiny the paint gets. Most women don't look so good at 35

 

Dropped the rear independent suspension out of the donor car. Going to try and move the donor car out of the garage today to make more room to finally start swapping everything onto the truck

 

Removed the dash and tossed out the hvac system. Gunna try and weigh it all before I toss it n

 

Probably a good 35 lbs of dead weight without the hvac. I take mine out of every car, but we don't get much sun in Seattle haha

i removed the front bull/brush guard and fog lights after some guy in a brand new F150 backed into me.

only damage to my trck was broken fog light, his bumper and tailgate were trashed.

but still, fffuuuuuu...........

 

damn that sucks to hear/read. atleast its only the foglight.

 

I think at some point driving tiny little Toyota everybody gets bumped into slowly. I've had a few reasons to get out and scream at strangers too.

And I'm in snohomish now. Haven't changed the location.

 

Today I hit up the weekly car cruise. Didn't get pics til later on. And snapped a pic next to a 72 dodge cop car for sale in town. Ill post pics.

Gonna see if the shop that's selling it will take a six pack and some burgers for doing a photo shoot down the street. Wanna make an era piece pull over shoot. Lol. Nothing on either looks newer than 75 except my headlights.
