They make 2 different center pieces for 89-95 a double din and a single din opening

 

He is correct. There is a single din and double din from toyota. I just did a dash swap so i could have a double din. You dont se alot of them but they are out there.

im not sure exactly but the guy that owned it before me only had the truck for 8 months and he needed more batteries but couldn't fit them.So he decided to sell it his name is jerry he owns SPL competitions he sets up all the sound competitions at all the car and truck shows across the usa the deal I got on this truck was an amazing deal its been in mini truckin magazine 2 times also

they must be extremely rare then. ive been attending mini truck shows and cruse nights for 13 years and i have not once ever seen or heard of a single din before.
you had to do the whole dash or just the lower radio piece?

 

Even toyota still makes the brackets for them so they couldnt have been that rare i think they were probably popular in the work truck models
