I'm definitely interested in the round headlight conversion!

I've been wanting to do singles... just not sure what to do for a grill at that point.

There is a 84-88 on cardomain that has round headlights, and it looks pretty badass, but looked a little "off " with the stock square headlight grill...

You're my motivation! Don't give up on those sexy round eyes ;)

So I search craigslist everyday and found an awesome deal. 2 used in great shape fenders for $60. They will go on once I get my bumper and such.

Did my torsion's today. I got another inch lower. So i am a total of 2.45" drop in front and a 2" drop in back. I might get 1" blocks to lower the back a little more.

So all I did was use a 22mm wrench on the top bolt and used a breaker bar with a 22mm socket on the bottom. The wrench eventually was against the frame which gave it support while we loosened the bolt. I turned it the same amount about 22 times so about 4 complete turns. I drove it over some speed bumps to help it settle. I want to go lower but I need to replace the ball joints and shocks and such. So it's about 1.5" drop on the torsion and b/j flip was about 1.25" drop with the three washers.

I am going to use a certain grill for the dual headlights but I need to relocated the A/C canister thing. LOL. It uses hard lines so I am not confident in doing it myself. I will see if it is possible so I can do the dual headlight system. I just don't want to buy the things and have them not fit correctly. Pic a Part does not have a front end I could check to see the fitment. It will be a lot of modding. The grill will be different and the headlights will be different. The bumper will be slightly modded and the same with the valance but it will be made from stock.

I used the front of this old box so I don't have to cut a circle. LOL
    [IMG]
I changed this around so I can put the seat back all the way.
My cut line so the sub will be lower.

I am thinking of doing a build thread on this. I also will be doing a different setup once I get money for 4 10" subs. If there is a will there is a way. I might do something totally different if I ever get 2 bucket I will do a 10" and 3 8" sub center console. I think I want buckets. lol

Ok so my sound system is in but I am to embarrassed about the box build. I will be buying 4 8" subs and then building a box out of fiberglass and MDF board. that will look good or atleast better. I need to come up with an idea of how to cover up the back wall and mount the amp and cap back there.

My Alarm arrives tomorrow so i will be installing that as well. Cannot wait. Proximity control. Remote start. starter disable. power lock kit and two way communication. you know the works. lol. I will have two sirens. I might mod one so that it would sound different. I hope the chirp sounds good.

Oh I am down for sure!! I need some advice and chat about these trucks. The alarm is almost done. I have one power lock on the drivers side. It's in working condition. :) The alarm was tricky but I think I will get it done tomorrow.

Mine is at HBR competition engines at the speedway. He has a few notes on other race 22r motors he's done and the last few heads he had built. So I'm excited to see what flow rates come out if mine for now.
