Without having funds or another driver to bag right yet, wondering if anyones come up with an idea to remove or hide these unsightly rod ends mainly the brackets. Big stupid Horns sticking out like a soar thumb under my valance. Editr a valance thats between 1.5-3 inches taller than the two wheel drive but fits in place with little to modest mods. Dont wanna change the bumper.
I'm using a 4x4 valance it bolts to the side bumper location oem spot with a little squeeze and i used to stainless screws in the other two holes its sturdy and strong it's six inches tall u can find a pic in I think post your static drop or post your wheels I got it online for 20 bucks + shipping
maken an a arm would be neat but have to find away to do caster adjustment like add in cam bolt or some thing I hate it as well cause my bloody tire hits it
Thanks guys! I just wish cando came with a spot to keep my torsion.. ooo well I look into this valance.
Those are both long winded threads haha. Ill take ur word for it if u say by squeezing it. It doesnt looked bowed or flared out more than it should be.. looks clean right?
Yea squeeze more like just bolt on one side and push a little on the other side to get the bolt in its easy and run two self tapping screws in the two middle holes directly into that frame peace ..
Autopartwarhouse online . I bought mine about 4 years ago so I'd bet its more now but that's we're I got it there steel to not plastic like some out there also some guys are using Isuzu rodeo valances
No prob on another note it comes black electro coated but it won't last I took some duplicolor bumper paint and sprayed it on there and my bumper and grill it holds up well and can take armor all for a nice brand new shine look
I ended up finding one elsewhere 20 bucks for the valance. And he swapped the grill for free he liked the 2wd. Haha still gotta snag his corners. Our plugs were different and I have wires tapped into mine so I didn't have the proper tools on me to swap em. But soon
