    rolled fenders?

    1inch = 25.4mm

    you'll push it back in .78inches if you get 40mm.

    remember, you're basing everything off your desired 8.5" width wheels.

    Wow.good info. I'm thinking the +42s I ordered will work out pretty good now. That's the reason I decided to stay with 18" Max. That's right though the 40s will pull it in a lil over 3/4" but I have no clue if that will help. Wish I knew more!

    Yea it does. I checked the conversion of mm to inces too. I hope 3/4 will make the difference. I dont wanna roll the fenders. I just might have to air up to turn sharp. Simple as that. Btw I LOVE these wheels! Gonna see if theyll swap em out for me then off to powdercoat they go...

    Why not roll/pull the fenders?

    After some fitments and pros / cons I,m going to get these same wheels in an 18x8 +40. I can lay the truck out @ lock on 18's and 20's are cutting it too close for my liking.

    I'd rather turn low then have to air all the way up when I need to turn. So 18's it is.

    I know it's not the look mini truckers are after but I was rubbing with 8's at full lock so I went with 18x7" fronts on the 62

    Post up pics when you get them. My 18x8s with a 42 offset should be here soon...but it would be nice to see what I'm looking at...

    just imagine yours being 10mm inside.

    I do have to air up to go to full lock, but not all the way. I think that airing up to turn isn't all that bad as long as it's not required for normal driving. Besides, I love the hellaflush look that you get when they're pushed out. I've been thinking of getting thicker spacers.

    18's with the same offset will work, mine do. But I think you'll find that the +42's are tucked in way too far with the 4wd fenders...

    So its really a question of personal preference. Air up to turn with a low offset, or ride low AND turn with a high offset.

    Both will work, just a question of your personal style. Again, difference between a +20 and a +40 is about 3/4". Are we splitting hairs here, or lol

    Not entirely. I would have to air up to turn with either offset in a 20 (+20 or +40) with the +20 offset the wheels are 3/4 inch closer to the fenders giving me less room to turn then it would with +40 which would suck them in more. I still havent ordered wheels again because I cant make up my mind if I still wanna run a 20 or not.:rolleyes2: The problem Im having is the 8.5 width on the wheel. Pretty wide for a little truck. I havent seen any 20x7's that I like. I really need a 20 with a tire on it to mock up and I'll make a decision from there...Anyone have a 20 inch wheel wanna help me out???
