Hello all. I have a 88 2wd base with flipped bjs cranked torsions, pulled leaf and flipped overload w/ 3 inch blocks. I need a notch my axles bangin around easily. Apparently my springs sag slightly. So where can I get a premade one. Website links or forum members I can get a quick turn around would be great pkease let me know! And maybe a thread on installation would be great
well nevermind!!! haha i found a gentleman i actually partially work with. turns out he specializes at his house fabricating and moddifying frames of all types.. so i talked to him and he said if you pull ur bed off or at least get it so theres only 2 bolts holdin it we can lift it off saturday evening next week and sunday i can help him through it back on 100 bucks out the door and hes custom building a 4in. step notch
Make sure you plan out what you need /may need later! If you are going to or do later decided to bag, you'll want a 8'' min. notch, & weld on 8 piece ,so welds can be laid to the in side of the plates( more strength)!
Thank you. I almost get asked daily when im gonna remove it. Its missing a chunk of pink where the last owner tried to remove it. But other than that I personally feel it adds major character and love it. And being a newlywed I have my wifes matching pink garter on the rearview and in the next year or so hopefully a set of baby pink shoes. Fyi I measured maximum hight of my truck from ground to roof its 53 1/4" woot.
