alright so after about 2 years of collecting parts its finally time for me to give my front suspension a overhaul and make my own build thread.

I am having it all done at a shop because I simply don't have time to do it myself.

The only thing I did today was install new bump stops in the rear I purchased from member BeefedTaco (if you are reading this you sent me the wrong color you punk) They fit great and serve their purpose well...

and a comparison of old vs new

    and the new bumpstop installed

With the current blown shocks I have about a inch of clearance between the axle and factory bump stop. I have about 4 inches now

    more pics later

its actually not much of a height adjustment because it already has blocks and cranked torsions... but the handling and ride quality sucks

they bumpstops come in red or black polyurethane

    heres a link http://www.toyotaminis.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1648

I would ship them back but I didn't buy them for looks and not like you can see them anyway.

True. Oh i didnt know the torsions were let down. Yeah put the spindles on and bring them back up a bit and the ride will be way better!

took the truck in today and took a couple pics

the new belltech shocks are beefy... about twice the diameter of shock and quite a bit beefier then the old nitro drop active shocks.

the new torsions look pretty bad ass as well

    more tomorrow.

Damn dude, you have some nice parts goin' on that truck. As for the bumps, it sucks because I always have a hard time when ordering the red, my contact always gets the black and red is special order, but red is the color I prefer too. (and is what I ordered for you, but didn't want you to have to wait 2-3 more days either) I know after a while you don't think about it anymore since you can't see them anyways, but I'm just as picky as you are when it comes to the truck, sorry, but sometimes that color option is out of my hands. Glad they are helping you though, thanks again. I'm stoked on your build.

hey, how does it ride with the sway-a-way bars? did you have to crank them much? how much stiffer is the rate?

on the sway bars, i know addco makes a set, so does hellwig and forgot who else makes one......
