I washed my engine bay and I checked da oil ones I was done and I noticed very little bubbles in the oil does this mean water got in?
Edit: I checked the engine oil after I turned it on after washing engine bay and I read that after running the motor it makes little bubbles but just asking to make sure
Little air bubbles in oil is normal. Especially if it's warm since it'll be thinner (not as thick as when it's cold) . Were they tan in color or did they look like they were floating on the surface of the oil? Water in oil will turn milky white after it's been circulating a bit, that's when you most likely have a head gasket going out. Plus you'll notice the milky white crap in the radiator too. Even if you did get a little in there from washing, you can just go take it on a good drive and probably be back to normal. How would it have got in? Did you use high pressure near the oil fill cap or near a breather or something?
Yeah it was tan and I covered were the valve cover breather hose is at bcuz I bearly put the weber 32/36 on there and some hoses arent in use anymore
