Anyone know where i can find a power steering box for an 86 toyota 4x4 22r?

    yes the seals are good just rusty. I'm in New hampshire, so shipping might be a little much, send me a pm with a town and email address and i will send you pictures SSB

    junk yard in chandler usually has them, they are $30

    they hard to pull and replace?

    if they are the similar to the 2x4 then its three bolts, and a castlelated nut w/ cotter pin. i usually take off the castle nut and turn it upside down and screw it back on till it is flush with the end of the threads. then hit it a few times with a 2# sledge hammer. oh, and you would also need to unbolt the steering shaft, which is one bolt. they're pretty easy.

    The 2WD box is just a smaller version of the 4WD box.

    I'm pretty sure the fittings for the PS hoses are the same too.
