Just wondering if toyota ever made their truck from 89 to 95 with a black interior as an option?? I can find anything on the web. Any input would be great! Thx

 

Ive never seen black myself...only tan, blue & grey. You can do what Ive done to my Toyota truck & Eclipse...just get some automotive/interior dye & dye any & all the parts you want. Make sure that you clean the parts very good...hell I wet sanded all my parts-the lower kick panels, arms rests, parts of the dash just to be safe. I also dyed the carpet in both vehicles as well too
& it turned out looking great!

hmm..ive painted parts but never dyed them, was it hard? ive been thinkin of turning my interior in my turbo truck black, but its still up in the air...

 

I used dupilcolors vinyl and fabric dye...was a no brainer and holds up extremely well. all i did was clean everything very well and shot it.
Just need to make sure humidity level is low, it will make it dry cloudy.

 

Is that stuff the sray can stuff??? Cause i have my interior all in pieces about to change it but i was curuous cause i wan to find some seat belts that are black to match. Thats the only thing that i cant get black or make black easily.

 

I dyed my seat belts black lol...just unbolted them from the truck & sprayed them. I did let them dry for a good while though lol.

 

Yep. did my seat-belts as well! just stretch them out, spray a coat, wait till dry and repeat till there like you want, then let them sit like that for a few hrs..lol
